Fort Halifax Opening

We wanted to ensure that our beloved park is 100% ready to reopen, with all debris cleared and any necessary repairs completed. However, the process is taking longer than expected to achieve the quick turnaround we had hoped for.

But, we have some good news! We have decided to remove the barriers and open the park to the public on Friday, April 26th.

Please bear in mind that there is still some debris to be removed and work to be done. We kindly ask everyone to respect the signage and stay away from cautioned off areas for safety reasons. Consider this as a "soft opening" as we continue our efforts to make the park even better.

For the time being, we will not be placing additional picnic tables or chairs until all debris has been cleared. Also, please note that the park will not be available for any type of rentals.

In the beginning of May, we will be removing the old stage and have an exciting plan in place for a new stage that will be more resistant to floods.
