Town of Winslow Office of Administration

The administration consists of:

          Town Manager-
The Town Manager manages the affairs of the Town of Winslow under the direction of the Winslow Town Council and in keeping with the Town Charter and the laws of the State of Maine and the United States.

Executive Assistant to the Town Manager -
The Executive Assistant is responsible for assisting in the execution of activities of the 
Administration of the Town of Winslow. Work involves administrative support activities, coordination and execution 
of activities of the office of the Town Manager and the Town Clerk. Also performs administrative support 
functions for the HR & Finance Director and provides backup support to the front office customer service 
and cash handling functions.

Town Clerk & Registrar of Voters-
The Town Clerk/Registrar of Voters is responsible for conducting and preparing all elections. They are also  responsible for maintaining all voting and vital records and directing clerical employees engaged in the issuance of various municipal and State licenses.

Human Resources, Finance Director & Treasurer-
The Human Resources, Finance Director, & Treasurer is responsible for planning and organizing all operations of the Town including accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, assisting in budget preparation, and other activities. They are also responsible for maintaining all employee records, claims, and reports.

Tax Collector, Administrative Assistant to the Assessor & Code Enforcement Officer-
The Tax Collector is responsible for the administrative and financial work in the issuance of tax bills and the collection and recording of all excise taxes and property taxes assessed by the Assessors against all real estate and personal property. The Tax Collector maintains tax records for all accounts and prepares regular reports of collected monies and delinquent properties for the State, Town Council, and townspeople. This position also provides administrative assistance to the Town Code Enforcement and Assessing offices including a supportive role to the Planning Board & Zoning Board of Appeals. 

Office Clerk-
The Office Clerks work in the Collection Office registering motor vehicles, collecting sewer and property tax payments, file and issue Vital Records, License Dogs, and sell Hunting & Fishing Licenses. They also answer the phones and are your first point of contact when calling the Town office.
